Manager of Communications and PR - Financial Organization in NJ

This client is a finance related membership organization and one of the largest and most respected professional associations in it's industry.  The company is located in Northern NJ.

The Manager of Communications and PR works with spokespeople and global staff to raise awareness of the organization around a variety of timely issues such as digital disruption, and the need for "upskilling" in the profession.  The Manager works closely with colleagues on the Brand team to deliver a world class brand experience in earned, owned and social media outlets.

The Manager of Communications will be responsible for assisting with the planning of effective communications campaigns involving thought leadership and commenting on trends and news affecting the profession.  The Manager will recommend appropriate internal and external communications programs.

This role is also responsible for planning and executing IMA's external media relations program in collaboration with the PR agency.

Write and edit copy for a variety of interna and external communications including press releases, bylined articles and email communications.
