Associate Director, Marketing and Communications - Global Consulting Firm in Chicago
The Associate Director will design, develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications plan to grow the company's business in the Midwest Region. This role crosses all industries and all lines of business stretching across Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and St. Louis.
This role is exciting because of its breadth, but also because this position is brand new, and part of a new overall global marketing strategy, so there is lots of "green" area for this person to create marketing plans where none have existed. Not to mention the exciting and innovative work the company does to make it easy to impress potential clients and other audiences.
This person will lead cross functional marketing and communications teams across activities that will include:
We're looking for a minimum of 15 years' experience in marketing/marketing communications, including digital and social marketing and understanding of new digital business trends, environment and players.
We're looking for proven leadership skills, strong business acumen, the ability to influence highest levels of leadership, a strong executive presence, Superior oral and written skills, Superior negotiation and mediation skills, expert budget management and project management skills.
Experience is all aspects of marketing and communications, especially media and analyst relations, advertising, internet marketing, internal communications, collateral production, credential development and recruitment marketing is preferred.

- Build the profiles of key leaders in the region, leveraging prime media relations opportunities, social media, digital and face to face meetings.
- Drive client engagement
- Creating the marketing and communications strategy and directing the design and execution of all marketing activities across the client, candidate, employee and influencer marketing efforts.
- Oversee recruitment marketing activites
- Build the employer brand
- Help leadership communicate to employees
- Collaborate with Global issues Management team
- Involvement in talent development, hiring and training
- Contribute as part of the NA marketing leadership team
- Build relationships with key businesses and associations.
- Drive strong client programs
