Southwest Media Manager - Huge Global Consulting Firm - Dallas
A well-known global
consulting firm is searching for a dynamic public relations pro
to support the strategy, execution and coordination of a comprehensive media
relations program for the firm’s businesses across the Southwestern United
States, with a particular focus on Houston and Dallas. The role is responsible
for generating top tier media coverage in influential, local press that advances
regional business objectives, and includes executive positioning programs for the
firm’s leaders across the region.
This person will support campaign and message development
around important regional and local marketing initiatives and collaborate with
national, industry, business and global media relations colleagues across the
company to leverage content for locally relevant stories, and will complement
the media relations program with social media to amplify awareness and
visibility
You’ll manage the press release pipeline for market or
regional relevant research studies and surveys, corporate citizenship
activities, inclusion and diversity initiatives, and other news and any
community stories.
We’re looking for a minimum of 7 years of media relations
experience in a professional services, B2B or technology sector.
Also looking for strong relationships with local press in
Houston and Dallas and any experience with other key Southwest markets--Austin,
San Antonia, Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City would be great.
Also looking for the ability to
leverage social media to augment and amplify media relations program.

business marketplace; quick thinking with an inquisitive nature and desire to
learn about economic and business drives, the technology ecosystem and other
businesses. You should be a
collaborative partner, and able to work well with executives at all levels.
