Account Manager - West Coast Agency (tech)
One of the largest global independent PR firms, whose clients include some of the most influential companies in the world, is seeking an Account Manager to lead a dynamic and evolving account. We’re looking for a strategic thinker who can develop creative programs to support the client on key business issues.
This Account Manager must be able to manage, maintain and grow relationships with important senior level influentials. The account manager will identify communication trends on which to educate clients and agency staff. With a good sense of the client's business goals, the Account Manager will drive strategic communication that supports the company on various key issues.
This person will serve as a trusted advisor to clients as well as mentor and motivate staff. The AM will manage budgets, maintain and grow client relationships, negotiate and manage client expectations and satisfaction.
This person should have excellent writing abilities, a strong understanding of PR tactics including digital strategies, of course. As a Manager, this person should be able to coach, influence and manage the performance and career development of direct reports.
We're looking for at least five but more likely seven or eight years of experience in an agency environment working on similar accounts, including three of those years handling team management.
