This is a very unusual and special opportunity for someone to lead a well established Professional Services team. You will have the opportunity to help lead integrated marketing activities for a huge international consulting firm, drive in strategic planning and content creation initiatives, develop both traditional and social media relations strategies, and mentor and train a dedicated account team.
The role is focused on B2B communications utilizing integrated marketing and traditional public relations experience including writing (byline articles, speeches, whitepapers, etc.), analyzing research and survey results, content creation (infographics, video, etc.), media relations, and digital strategy.
Administratively, you will act as a senior day-to-day lead on client programs, working closing with both a management team and a larger team of 10-12 professionals and help to manage client profitability. You'll be expected to mentor and train account team members, helping them to leverage their strengths, identify growth opportunities and develop integrated marketing skills
You will oversee and develop the creation of content marketing materials, design research initiatives, analyze findings and craft resulting narratives, develop of strategic plans, media analysis, announcements and thought leadership collateral
The right person for this role has excellent writing/editing skills and is a creative problem solver. S/he is a multi-tasker and enjoys empowering others.Very importantly, this person has experience working with large Professional Services (accounting, consulting, private equity, legal, banking etc.) clients. You must be able to work collaboratively with teams, and help those under you to develop their skills.
Industry expertise in any of these areas is a big plus: healthcare, non-profit, technology and life sciences, retail and consumer products etc.
Serving as a senior strategist for a multi-disciplinary program that cuts across many industries and service sectors
Developing creative ways to engage with clients’ key audiences through digital and social media strategies
Oversee the creation of content marketing materials, including infographics, eBooks and videos
Support organic new business development initiatives
8-10 years of integration marketing and/or PR experience (at least some of which was with a Professional Services firm)
Exceptional writing and communications skills
Nimble organizational and planning skills; able to work quickly, prioritizing multiple assignments
Strong ability to develop client relationships, along with a service-oriented outlook
Collaborative leader who knows how to activate others to achieve their own potential
A significant understanding of the Professional Services industry and trends affecting it; challenges and opportunities for marketing within it
Intellectual curiosity, a passion for learning about a rapidly evolving industry, and a positive attitude!
