Acct Exec/Sr Acct Exec - Financial Services - NYC Firm
We are looking for an AE/SAE to join the Financial Services
team of a well-established and prestigious PR agency. You will have the opportunity to work on
several financial services accounts, supporting integrated marketing
activities, assisting account drivers with strategic planning and content
creation initiatives, helping to develop both traditional and social media
relations strategies, and mentoring and training junior staff members.
Candidates will also be expected to take ownership of and lead client projects
from start to finish, managing all client correspondence with the account
drivers’ oversight.
The work is focused on both B2C and B2B communications for
clients in the financial services sector and requires 2-5 years of fundamental integrated
marketing experience. Experience should also include client service, writing
(press releases, pitches, byline articles, speeches, whitepapers, etc.), research
analysis, content creation, media relations, and digital and social media
strategy.
Experience working with financial services clients is
required; retail banking, investing, retirement, small business, wealth
management, back-office financial technology or data management experience is a
plus! Deep knowledge of the asset management industry (traditional and
alternative; retail and institutional) is preferred for one of the available
positions.
Ideal candidates are strong writers, creative

Responsibilities include:
Working collaboratively and productively with teams; keeping
the team organized and accountable for key client deliverables
Leveraging excellent writing skills to develop media
pitches, announcements, plans and thought leadership collateral
Following financial services media trends and assisting in
developing media outreach strategies; fostering strong relationships with
relevant media and securing positive media coverage
Helping to design research initiatives, analyze findings and
craft resulting narratives
Developing creative ways to engage with clients’ key
audiences through digital and social media strategies
Conceptualizing and helping build content collateral, such
as infographics, eBooks and videos
Exhibiting exceptional client service and working directly
with clients on day-to-day activities
At the SAE level especially, mentoring and training junior
staff members, helping them to leverage their strengths and develop integrated
marketing core competencies
