You’ll do well if you have strong program management skills and strong analytical skills and writing skills.  You’ll need strong budget management and financial reporting skills because you’ll be handling large budgets with multiple vendors and deliverables.

The Media Relations Manager should have a minimum of 8 years' experience promoting and building reputation across all media platforms within the interactive, digital marketing environment. This is a somewhat flat, matrix organization which offers excellent compensation and benefits.

Communications Business Partner

This role is for the #2 person in the communications section of $6 Billion division of a very dynamic global manufacturing company.

You will act as a strategic advisor to the President of the division.  You will be responsible to develop and implement internal and external communications plans and programs that will foster the company's growth and employee engagement.

This person will also be responsible for executive visibility, thought leadership, media relations, awards/rankings, social media, community relations, issues management and reputation event management.

Priorities will include key initiatives supplementing growth of the company in critical countries and/or vertical markets.  Find ways to help build the brand, working closely with marketing and product management.

The great thing about this role is the exposure to senior management, the great communicators you'll be working with, the scope of the job, which is so broad, and the opportunity to have a tremendous impact because of the exciting work to be done and the need for someone who can make decisions, take on new responsibilities, and work autonomously as well as in groups.

The role is based outside of Charlotte NC (although we might consider Minneapolis).

Senior Account Executive - NYC - tech or financial

I'm excited to be working with a hip young firm based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.  They've been growing steadily and have a need to hire one or two more people to help with .all the new growth.

Clients range from tech startups (That require the full range of PR and communications) to financial services to entertainment.   As an example, they are doing some really exciting and creative work for an education tech client which is a category leader. they represent the charitable activities for two well known celebrities.  There is lots of variety with the other interesting work!

The firm's president has worked for several of NYC's largest firms before setting out on his own about two and a half years old.  Most of the staff come from big agencies where they weren't getting the training, exposure and career development assistance that they wanted.  Now they're doing great and loving their job.  There is more account responsibilities, more variety, more learning and lots of growth.
